New Location and New Date For Kiwanis Club of Peterborough Meetings
The Kiwanis Club of Peterborough is now holding its Kiwanis Meetings on the First Tuesday evening of every month beginning April 2, 2019. Our meetings are now being held at the McDonnel Street Activity Center, 577 McDonnel Street in Peterborough. (Lawn Bowling Club). Plenty of parking and a fully accessible building.
Meetings begin at 5:30 pm with full dinner being served at 5:45 pm. Cost is only $20.00 per person. A guest speaker will be featured at each meeting, followed by the Directors Meeting. At our Directors Meeting you will be able to hear what activities our club is involved in as we strive to improve the lives of children and the community we live in. Guests are always welcome.
The Kiwanis Club of Peterborough is comprised of men and women of all ages. If you are looking to improve the lives of children, get engaged in the community, have fun, experience friendship, leadership, networking, educational programs, personal growth and recognition, then become part of the Internationally recognized Kiwanis Organization. All proceeds from the Delta Gaming and Bingo Center will be spent locally to support local initiatives undertaken by this Kiwanis Club. Kiwanis Support Community Project
The Kiwanis Club of Peterborough and the Kiwanis Club of Scott's Plain's-Peterborough, partnered to support the Hospice Peterborough "Every Moment Matters Capital Campaign". This new Hospice Center will feature a Children's Pediatric Room and we have donated $25,000.00 for the equipment and furnishings of this Children's Pediatric Room. Kiwanis continues to perform meaningful service, with service to our children as our priority. We are pleased to take part in this major community project.
