The Kiwanis Club of Peterborough celebrated 100 years of Service to our Community(1921-2021) and elsewhere around the world, hosting a celebratory dinner on November 27, 2021. The guest speaker art the dinner was the Eastern Canada and Caribbean District of Kiwanis, Governor Jim Scott.

New Location and New Date For Kiwanis Club of Peterborough Meetings

The Kiwanis Club of Peterborough is now holding its Kiwanis Meetings on the Second Monday of each month.
Our meetings are being held at Grace United Church, 581 Howden Street (Corner of Howden St. and Monaghan Rd- Downstairs Hall). These will be a catered dinner meeting with a hot meal and the cost remains the same at $20.00 per person. Premises is fully accessible with a lift elevator, and plenty of parking. Meet and greet anytime after 5:15 pm with dinner being served at 5:45 pm.  A full meeting will follow the dinner.


Guests are always welcome.  NOTE: Meetings are being held in accordance with Health Regulations and Social Distancing. Mask must be worn and are being removed during dinner, which is served by caterer. COVID-19 Checklist will be completed upon attendance.

The Kiwanis Club of Peterborough is comprised of men and women of all ages. If you are looking to improve the lives of children, get engaged in the community, have fun, experience friendship, leadership, networking, educational programs, personal growth and recognition, then become part of the Internationally recognized Kiwanis Organization. We believe children and their communities benefit from the efforts of a dedicated group of volunteers.

The Kiwanis Club of Peterborough is pleased to announce that they have joined the Kawartha Bingo Sponsor's Association. All proceeds from the Delta Gaming and Bingo Center will be spent locally to support local initiatives undertaken by this Kiwanis Club. The Kiwanis Club of Peterborough is dedicated to improving the lives of Youth in our community. Our primary focus is on youth ages 0-18 years of age, and on underprivileged youth,. We focus on projects where our funding can make a significant impact.


We believe children and their communities benefit from the efforts of a dedicated group of caring and hands on volunteers. Feel free to visit us during one of our meetings. Just contact our membership chair who will make arrangements for your visit.
Our local Kiwanis Club is part of a global membership comprised of more than 600,000 members in more than 80 countries. Each community has different needs and Kiwanis empowers members to pursue creative ways to serve the needs of children through local service projects.

The Kiwanis Club of Peterborough is proud to announce that they are supporting the "ALL ABOARD THE RIVERVIEW RAILWAY CAPITAL CAMPAIGN" at the Riverview Park and Zoo. The Kiwanis Club has pledged $25,000.00 toward the replacement of the Train and Coaches, We are also collecting additional donations at the snack bar in our "Round up to the next dollar campaign"  with a goal of $2,500.00 by Labour Day and all donations are being matched by Accident Collison Reporting Services of Peterborough up to $2,500.00. Thank you to all the patrons & staff at the snack bar, We passed our goal and raised $3,100.00 and with the $2,500.00 from Accident Reporting- Collison Services in Peterborough, this has added another $5,600.00 to the campaign.  Thank you our Visitors, Staff and Mr. Steve Sanderson at Accident Reporting Services Peterborough.


The Kiwanis Club of Peterborough wishes to acknowledge the ongoing partnership of Delta Bingo & Gaming, in their fundraising efforts, which partially allowed provision of these two grants.
